Allyson Birk

Chief Financial Officer

As a certified public accountant, Allyson (or as her friends call her, Ally) has found a home at Fertility and Midwifery Care Center and Holy Family Birth Center where her career and passion for family have merged. Her main focus is on the financial management and strategic longevity of the practices so that countless more women can continue to experience the unique care provided by FMCC and HFBC.

Allyson grew up in the small town of Edgerton, Ohio with her two older siblings and moved to Fort Wayne in 2007 to attend college. She graduated in 2011 with Highest Distinction from Indiana University and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a major in Accounting and a minor in Communication Studies. After college, she worked for Baden Gage & Schroeder, a local CPA firm, working for the audit team and had her first experience collaborating directly with the health care industry. Allyson and her husband, Braden, met in Fort Wayne and married in 2014. Even though she enjoyed her time at the firm, Allyson felt the need for a better work-life balance as they were expecting their first son, Braxxon, in 2016 and transitioned to a financial manager role at a Berkshire Hathaway-owned malpractice insurance company, MedPro Group. Their second son, Bryson, was born in 2019, unfortunately just a few weeks shy of the grand opening for the birth center! The Birks welcomed their third boy, Barrett, in 2021. Even though the older boys are complete opposite personalities, they are both devoted to their youngest sibling. In their free time, Ally and her family are making memories with family and friends, visiting the zoo, watching Notre Dame football, or baking in the kitchen. Allyson also enjoys reading books but admits she hasn’t had much time for this lately.

2020 has been a year of discernment for Allyson to focus on what truly brings joy to her life, follow her passion, and use her skillset to serve the greater mission of FMCC and HFBC. She feels very blessed to be able to join the team.

“It’s amazing to see God’s will for our lives develop in unexpected ways when we follow his call, as unconventional as the path or decision may appear. What initially started out as a patient relationship has formed into a personal connection to the success of FMCC and HFBC so that others can feel the same compassion and renewed sense of hope that Braden and I felt from Dr. Stroud, his fellow providers, and all the staff while navigating our journey to parenthood back in 2015.”

She was the first employee of the Fertility and Midwifery Care Center and has played an important role in the practice since its inception. They moved to Fort Wayne in 2015 and love it! Kelsey and Justin spend most of their time with friends, family, and spoiling their niece and nephews. Kelsey started at FMCC in September 2015 as a phlebotomist. In October of 2017 Kelsey took on a new role at FMCC as the Assistant Administrator. She continues to grow with FMCC and has firmly rooted herself as a key contributor to the success of daily life at FMCC, and because of that, she was promoted to an Administrator in 2022. "I would like to take this opportunity and give gratitude to thank my parents for everything they have done to sacrifice for their own family happiness. My parents have done everything in their power to provide for us, care for us, and love us even when circumstances of life did not treat them well. Thank you so much, Mom and Dad. I also want to give thanks to my siblings for being my biggest supporters and believers. I love you guys to the moon and back. Nevertheless I would also like to thank everybody in my life who has supported me every step of the way in my journey for recognizing my passion in helping people in need and doing further more for them at any means necessary.

I would like to also give encouragement to the younger generation who are growing an interest in nursing or who aspire to be nurse for the greater goods to keep thriving. It might seem unbearable but the long run is worth it. When you are finally at your goal, you will be relieved to know that you never gave up and kept pushing on.
Finally, I'd like to express my gratitude to the FMCC family. You have been a blessing to me, and I know the patients feel the same way. I'd also like to thank my church family. You guys are fantastic. When I count my blessings, I make sure to include you two times. "Remember you're human, and you're doing the best you can, and you are enough," is my go to motivation."

Creighton Instructors

Lindsey Tippmann

Fertility Care Practitioner

Lindsey was born and raised in Fort Wayne and is the youngest of 3 children. She is a Registered Nurse and graduated from the University of St. Francis in 2007. Prior to joining FMCC, she worked in Oncology, the CHF Unit, Med/Surg ICU, and the Women's Care Center, a crisis pregnancy center here in Fort Wayne.

She and her husband, Blake, met at her sister's wedding and have been married since 2007! After a few years of being married, and suffering the loss of their first two babies, they welcomed their oldest son, Judah in 2010. At that time, Lindsey started the journey of being a stay-at-home mom. God had a beautiful plan, beyond what she ever imagined, to entrust her and her husband with 5 more children! They welcomed William, Elsie, Violet, Memphis and Avila to the family between 2011-2021. She is eternally grateful for the gift of motherhood and the greatest blessing of being a stay-at-home mom.

In the spring of 2022, God opened a door (in a quite unexpected way - through doing a podcast with Dr. Stroud!) to allow Lindsey an opportunity to share her passion of women's health, specifically in regards to natural family planning, here at FMCC. And because God is so great, He paved the way to make it happen while still allowing her to essentially be a stay-at-home mom! Lindsey feels so honored to be just a small part of this team and truly humbled to walk alongside women and couples who are using CrMS for a multitude of reasons.

Stephanie Wilson

Certified Fertility Care Practitioner & Registered Medical Assistant

Stephanie is the second oldest of five children and has lived in Columbia City since the age of 13. Babysitting and homeschooling with her siblings instilled in her a love for caring for children. After graduating high school in 2011, she married her husband, Dennis, in 2013. Not long after that, Stephanie began attending school to become a medical assistant. A year of post-college experience working with oncology patients gave Stephanie the confidence to switch to family medicine, where she has been for the past 6 years. Her passion for women’s health began in 2014, when she began to practice the Creighton method for herself after the birth of her first son, Noah.

Since then, she has welcomed two more boys into their family: Matthew and Wyatt. “I was meant to be a boy mom!” is a phrase often heard from Stephanie. Her family of 5 enjoys exploring their community with frequent trips to the zoo, aquatics center, and local parks. Christmas is her favorite time of the year, especially seeing the lights around town. Although family time is most important to her, a good book and a warm blanket are a close second.

Stephanie is so excited to teach Creighton at FMCC! Her first-hand experience and passion to share her knowledge will help change other women’s lives, no matter where they are in their journey.

Caroline Strzesynski

Certified Fertility Care Practitioner & Women's Health Nurse Practitioner

Caroline graduated in 1999 with her bachelor's degree in nursing. Her passion has always been to serve women. This journey began as an abortion recovery room nurse for a private clinic. She then went on to work for Planned Parenthood for nearly 14 years. In that time, she became an HIV counselor, STD examiner, Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, a mother, and a Christian. Becoming a mother was a great joy, and becoming a Christian led to spiritual growth and further questioning of her work. Seeing things in a different light, she resigned from Planned Parenthood and looked and prayed for something new and new work was provided. Contraceptive prescriptions and insertion procedures continued to be provided as well, but in a different workspace much like any OB/Gyn office. After 18 years of practice, Caroline saw how contraceptives led to repeat sexually transmitted infections, abortions, and mental health struggles. In 2021, she knew her provision of contraception was ending, and God was calling her to provide authentic women's healthcare which honors Him. The decision led to a drastic cut in work hours, and an introduction to Creighton and NaProTechnology care. She returned to school in 2021 for training to become a Creighton FertilityCare Practitioner and Medical Consultant, and she is currently working on certifications for both. Thankfully, she was introduced to Dr. Stroud and the Fertility and Midwifery Care Center where she has been able to provide online Creighton instruction – continuing to serve women.

Caroline is married to a humorous man named Scott who has been supportive through the work journey. They have been married over 20 years and are parents to Sophia and Will who have been raised in the Christian faith and Prolife movement for as long as they can remember. The family lives and works in and around Toledo, Ohio.

Caroline is also a part of And Then There Were None, a ministry founded by Abby Johnson to help abortion workers leave the clinics, find healing & life affirming employment. Through this ministry, Caroline mentors' other former abortion workers.

Hollie Parish

Hollie has a degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography and is certified ARDMS. She moved to Fort Wayne in 2020 and started working at a hospital. On her days off, she is serving with her church through their different ministries, serving with the youth during the week and serves team on the weekends. She enjoys spending time with friends and family and different seasonal outdoor activities in her free time.
