“Our family had an incredibly positive experience with this practice. From the beginning of treatment, they offered a lot of resources, classes, etc. The midwives are all very kind and go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable with your care every step of the way. Of the midwives I saw they all had great bedside manner and always made sure I had any questions answered. We had planned on delivering at the birthing center but unfortunately last minute had to deliver at the hospital due to some complications. I was so nervous and honestly disappointed, but they made the entire labor and delivery experience so smooth. They had my health and the health of my baby as their main concern. They helped me adapt and change my mindset to get me ready for a new birthing plan. You could tell they really cared. Dr. Stroud even came in and made sure we were all good with our shift in our birth plan. Ryann monitored the baby and I very closely, answered any question I had and made sure I was ok with shifts in treatment. Marianne was AMAZING! She ultimately helped deliver our baby girl. She was so calm which made me calm, she talked me through my 15 minutes of pushing and it was one of the BEST experiences. Because they had helped me change my mindset and brought some of the tools they may use at the birth center to the hospital it made the experience one that I could actually enjoy and those moments I will never forget. Marianne was not only so kind to me and my husband but was also very accommodating and made my family really feel a part of the experience as well. She is exactly what I needed in those moments, and I can’t thank her, FMCC and HFBC enough and recommend them to anyone entering their pregnancy journey.”

“I can't quite put into words what Dr. Stroud's practice means to me. In October 2021, I found out I had lost my baby at 20 weeks. I could not find a local provider who would allow me to do a VBAC, and I was being cornered into a D&C. Dr. Stroud's group offered me a way to see and hold my baby, get pictures, grieve properly. During such a difficult time, they were a bright spot in offering me choices and options. If I get pregnant again, I will travel the distance for a live birth with his group because it is so incredibly important to me to be able to relax and know that I'm supported in my choices.”
