Becca grew up in Fort Wayne and Northwest Ohio. She graduated from Blackhawk Christian High school and went on to complete nursing school at the University of Saint Francis. As the daughter of a nurse, she was always drawn to caring for others, and began volunteering at Dupont Hospital in pediatrics while still in high school. Throughout nursing school, she felt a calling to midwifery, and began working in labor and delivery as a student nurse. She and Anthony met in high school and after they were married they built a house and firmly planted themselves in Northeast Indiana.
Through ten years of serving women as a labor and delivery nurse, Becca realized how prenatal care, support, and education affected a family’s childbirth and breastfeeding experience, and decided to pursue women’s health as a nurse-midwife. After much prayer and encouragement from her family, she returned to school for her bachelor’s degree in 2014 and continued onto midwifery studies, earning a Master’s of Science in Nursing specializing in Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University in early 2017.
Becca and Anthony have a son and daughter, and love to spend time playing and learning as a family. Becca is thrilled to have the opportunity to positively impact her community and empower women to achieve wellness in birth and beyond as a part of the Fertility and Midwifery Care Center.
