"It is very rare these days to find a doctor who is the "whole package". A doctor who is intelligent and great at their craft, has a bedside manner that calms and makes you feel safe, a dr with an ego left at the door of the exam room allowing them to listen and respect your wishes and concerns. Here at fertility and midwifery, both Drs Stroud and Martin are the whole package. They have amazing midwives assisting them and support staff that is excellent. I recently had a VBAC that ended in a c-section and not once did I feel that myself or my baby were in any harm. I felt supported and after all that was done to have a vaginal birth, I felt confident in the decision to have another c section. The whole experience was one I will never regret and feel really good about how it was handled. Thank you to this amazing team, you cannot know how it feels to have doctors you know have your back. Keep up your passion, we appreciate you!

"I had wonderful prenatal care from Dr. Stroud, Dr. Martin, and the entire team of nurse-midwives! When it came time to deliver my daughter, Dr. Martin and Nurse- Midwife Becca, explained my need for a repeat C-section due to fetal distress. They explained the entire process, which made me feel a lot better. They were so caring and helped me to cope with the surgery even though I was nervous. I had a wonderful experience with this team! I will definitely be returning to this office for my prenatal care with future children!"

"The entire staff made us feel welcome and safe during the pregnancy, birth and even through postpartum. I didn't feel like I was a number here: I felt like I was part of a family.i can't say enough good things about this wonderful office and group of talented individuals who helped us along the way to delivering our daughter and beyond. They really care about each person and genuinely want to help. This is the place I want to have all of our children. With such love and care, how can I complain? Thanking God for these doctors, midwives, and everyone else in-between who makes this place amazing."

"I was seeing a doctor in Lapel, IN & wasn't feeling confident about what she was telling me. I decided to get a second opinion & I am SO glad I decided to come here! My first appointment was with Dr. Martin & I am so thankful to be her patient. She went into detail, explained everything to me, and made me feel so welcomed. I went in to have a surgery and plans changed, but Dr. Martin was there for me every step of the way! She even emailed me on a Sunday, over a holiday weekend, to let me know my blood test results. I then since have seen Marianne & I loved how she didn't talk to only me, but she included my family that was with me. She is incredibly sweet & made me feel so confident about my choice with their office! Kim & Ryanne have been wonderful as well! Kim made my boyfriend feel at ease when he had to learn to give me shots. Ryanne is extremely helpful every time I visit. So thankful for their team!"

"Absolutely. Wonderful. Everyone was incredibly attentive, professional, personable, informative, and compassionate. Rebecca was all of that and more while delivering our baby girl, and I can’t thank her enough. We will definitely be returning to this group for our second baby when the time comes."

"It’s been almost two weeks since our little one was born. Our experience was nothing but perfect with FMCC. I would like to share a (hopefully short) version of our story. Our third child was born on 6/5/18. He is our third baby, and second VBAC. Our first child was born with a different provider via c-section, she was breech! Our second child was born via VBAC with the help of FMCC and Dr. Martin. It was a very successful delivery, but a very long labor and several hours of pushing- unmedicated and nonaugmented. The c-section and the long labor and delivery created an unnecessary fear in me regarding the risks of a c-section vs risks of VBAC. It took me a while to just get past the work it took to deliver my first VBAC baby. Throughout my third pregnancy and second VBAC, I worked with each provider to end the fear inside me. Every single provider instilled faith in me. They were very excited to be apart of our journey. I also read more about laboring, and exercised in a different way. I truly felt like I was gearing up for a very important athletic event. Our experience with this labor and delivery was a dream come true. I had contractions start early in the morning, but didn’t need to keep track until later that evening. This is important to note because, not once, from the start of contractions through pushing and delivering did the fear of this “VBAC” come in to my mind. Not once. I enjoyed my day with my two little ones, and headed to the hospital later that night. I was tired, but ready for my athletic event. We were able to avoid medication completely (our choice!). I couldn’t believe I had a newborn to love and hold within a few hours of arriving at the hospital. And to think, I could have had 3 c-sections. I pray for each baby, and that is in God’s hands. The opportunity for a VBAC has allowed me to be so much more open to God’s calling for more children. I thank FMCC for this and hope this story and motivate and instill faith in anyone else thinking about a VBAC!"

"Never before have I had a doctor pray aloud for me and his skills before a routine outpatient procedure. It was a very comforting. Everyone in the practice cares for you as if you are a favored loved one."

"To start off, there really aren’t any words to convey the gratitude we feel for the entire team, but particularly Marianne. To be completely transparent, when we first met her, I had my doubts. I thought, boy, she’s not afraid to speak her mind! I had hyperemesis gravidarum (violent nausea) which resulted in many outpatient visits and eventually a multiple day hospital stay for dehydration. It was TERRIBLE. I lost 25 lbs in the first 8 weeks of pregnancy. Well....once we got my system regulated and I was able to eat again, let’s just say I made up for lost time and packed on some weight rather quickly and Marianne voiced her concern. Well, I was hurt initially, but I took her words to heart and I was glad that I did! I knew in the end all she was looking out for were our son’s and my best interests. She ended up delivering our son and I can honestly say that because of her calm & assertive presence in the labor and delivery process, I was somehow able to make it through completely unmedicated. She has no idea how important that was to me, and when I was at my absolute breaking point (and demanding a C-section) she kept reminding me that this was the only way I was going to see my son. She is amazing. I am forever indebted to her dedication and patience and would UNEQUIVOCALLY choose her and the rest of the staff all over again! THANK YOU!"

"Words cannot express the appreciation that I have for the entire staff at FMCC. My husband and I have had the pleasure of receiving care for both of our sons through this practice. The care that we received prior to both of our sons' births was both professional and personal. I was two and a half weeks past my due date with our second son when he was born. Never did I feel pressured to commit to anything I was uncomfortable with (induction) and I always felt at ease with our son's wellbeing during those last few weeks. The birth/delivery of our son was the most amazing experience largely due to the amazing assistance of Marianne!"
